I would love to tell you what to expect from Alabama’s Men’s Basketball team Saturday night against Georgia.

The truth is…I have no clue.

This earth-shattering revelation really doesn’t have anything to do with Alabama’s team. It’s more of a case of trying to figure out the Bulldogs. A week ago, Mark Fox appeared to have one of six SEC teams that would reach the NCAA Tournament field. Two home losses later, and Georgia may be on the outside looking in.

The Dogs have shown they can compete with the SEC’s best, and yet also capable of falling to the league’s worst. Georgia owns wins against the likes of Ole Miss and Texas A&M, and have taken Kentucky, Arkansas and Ole Miss to the wire.

Yet, somehow, they were swept (at times dominated) by South Carolina and lost to Auburn.

Unfortunately for Alabama, this is the third time that the Tide has faced a quality team that’s currently riding a two-game losing streak. Georgia is still talented, has its back against the wall, and will likely come out firing against Anthony Grant’s team.

If Alabama is ready to answer the bell, they can take a major step forward. If not, it will be a third loss in Bama’s last four home games.

Hope you will join us on the Crimson Tide Sports Network (95.3 FM in Tuscaloosa) Saturday night to find out what happens…at the same time I do.
