Groom’s Cake Features Nick Saban Riding an Elephant, Holding a Crystal Football

It's pretty common to see a guy show off his love for a sports team on his wedding day, but an Alabama fan has grabbed some attention thanks to his over-the-top (and surprising) groom's cake.

According to College Spun, Robert Sabin (yes, that's the actual name) decided to have a cake that featured Nick Saban riding across a football field, riding an elephant, and hoisting BCS Championship crystal football over his head. As outrageous as that might sound, the artwork is actually pretty impressive.

Now for the surprise.

It turns out that the bride, a Florida grad, decided to have some fun by making the inside of the cake orange and blue in honor of her Gators. That's a bold move.

That's a reaction they'll enjoy for a long time.
