Jihaad Campbell Projected as First Round Pick

The 2025 NFL mock draft has now begun as the early stages of free agency begin to settle and NFL media analysts give their predictions for the 2025 NFL Draft.

Jihaad Campbell

Daniel Jeremiah, an NFL media analyst predicts that Jihaad Campbell, Junior linebacker for the Alabama Crimson Tide will be pick number nine to the New Orleans Saints in his 3.0 mock. Jeremiah wrote on NFL.com, "Campbell has the versatility to be a major weapon for a creative defensive coordinator like Brandon Staley."

This is significantly higher than what Jeremiah originally predicted with Campbell being picked at number 29 to the Washington Commanders. He wrote in his 2.0 mock, "Campbell is one of my favorite players in the class. I believe you'll see some teams work him out as an edge rusher this spring. When he's allowed to rush, he flashes elite potential.

In the first mock that Daniel Jeremiah presented, he predicted Jihaad Campbell to the Tampa Bay Buccaneers at pick number 19.

Tyler Booker

Surprisingly, Tyler Booker the junior offensive guard was not found in Jeremiah's 3.0 round one mock draft. In the previous mock Jeremiah predicted Booker to be picked at number 13 by the Miami Dolphins. He wrote in this mock, "Booker was a rock in the middle of the Alabama offensive line and he would provide a much-needed upgrade in Miami."

In Daniel Jeremiah's first mock draft, he predicted Tyler Booker to be picked at number 10 by the Chicago Bears. He wrote about Campbell stating "I think Booker is one of the safest picks in the draft. He will help firm up the interior line for Caleb Williams."
