John Metchie Exits SEC Championship Game With Leg Injury
Alabama junior wide receiver John Metchie III exits the SEC Championship Game after suffering a leg injury in the first half. Metchie was having himself quite a game prior to the injury, he hauled in six receptions for 97 yards and a touchdown on eight targets.

Jamie Erdahl of CBS reports that Metchie will not be available for Alabama for the remainder of the game.
The Crimson Tide will turn to Jameson Williams, Ja'Corey Brooks, Slade Bolden and others to replace the production from the Canadian receiver.
Metchie was leading the Tide in receiving this year, he pulled in 90 receptions for 1045 yards and seven touchdowns.
