Josh Jacobs came into the 2022 season a man on a mission after the Las Vegas Raiders chose not to pick up the running back's fifth-year option.

After a somewhat slow start to the season that saw Jacobs rush for only 182 yards over the first three weeks of the season, the former Tide back turned it up a notch.

Over the last three weeks Jacobs has led the league in rushing with 441 rushing yards and six touchdowns, also adding 13 receptions for 82 yards on the way establishing himself as one of the most dangerous running backs in the NFL.

Jacobs helped the Raiders to a win over the Houston Texans Sunday with career highs in rushing yards and touchdowns with 154 and three respectively.

Over the first three weeks of the season the Raiders had yet to win a game with Jacobs averaging 16 touches per game but since upping his usage in week 4 the Raiders have won three of their last four with Jacobs averaging 27 touches per game.

The Raiders have obviously found a winning formula featuring the Alabama alumni as the focal point of their offense, and if Jacobs continues to play like this he can expect a big payday, sooner rather than later.
