The Southeastern Conference has named its weekly award for the fifth week of the SEC season. Alabama junior quarterback Mac Jones was named Co-Offensive Player of the Week for the second consecutive week and the third time this season. Jones shares the award with Auburn receiver and Paul W. Bryant High School alum, Seth Williams.

Jones earns this honor after passing for 387 yards with an 80 % completion percentage. He did not throw a touchdown but the Jacksonville, Florida native rushed for his first touchdown of the year. Jones led the Crimson Tide offense to 45 of its 48 points as Alabama earned its 14th straight victory over the Tennessee Vols. The performance was Jones' fourth straight game with over 380 yards passing.

Jones has now thrown for 1,905 yards in his five starts this season with 12 touchdowns and only two interceptions.

Williams shared the Offensive Player of the Week with Jones after his impressive performance against the Ole Miss Rebels. Williams hauled in 8 receptions for 150 yards and he also had the game-winning touchdown for the Tigers. Auburn quarterback Bo Nix found Williams on the sidelines and the receiver outran the rest of the Rebels defense to secure Auburn's first road win of the year.

The junior receiver has been impressive to start the season, he leads Auburn in receiving, bringing in 24 receptions for 440 yards and three touchdowns.

Jones and Williams stand out above the rest of the conference on the offensive side, earning both athletes with Tuscaloosa ties SEC honors.
