Moore Remains Confident in Himself During Pre-Draft Process
TUSCALOOSA, Ala. — Despite not participating in Alabama's NFL Pro Day while nursing himself back to 100% following hernia surgery, Malachi Moore fielded questions from the media Wednesday morning.
When asked about his pitch to NFL scouts and front offices, Moore stated, "I have all the confidence in myself that I'm the best safety in this draft," Moore added, "Just going in there, being myself, showing them my football knowledge, they see it on tape as well. That's really all I can do. It's up to them."

Moore stated earlier during his availability, "They've [NFL front offices] been talking to me about my versatility and kinda asking me where do I see myself in the league. I tell them wherever the team needs me. I'm comfortable playing star or comfortable being back at safety. So, really just see where I land and end up."
The former Alabama safety added that he's been recovering at a positive rate from hernia surgery and plans to hold a personal pro day on April 1 as he gets closer to fully healthy.
During his five years in Tuscaloosa, the former Hewitt-Trussville Husky became a long-term staple in the Alabama secondary, recording 214 tackles, 16 TFLS, seven interceptions, and three forced fumbles.
As of now, Moore is expected to be selected in late day two or early day three of the NFL draft.
