Paul W. Bryant Stampede Earns First Victory of Season
What a night as Paul W. Bryant takes home their first win of the season. Two teams who have struggled tremendously this season. Bryant zero and eight and Brookwood zero and nine in regular season play, these teams put it all on the line tonight to stop each other.

This was a great step for the Stampede as they have not had much success this season. This is very good for first year head coach Christion Jones who is coaching a very young team. The Stampede who are now 1-8, will play the Tuscaloosa County Wildcats who suffered a major loss to Hewitt-Trussville making them 0-9 coming towards the end of the regular season.
The Stampede have a good chance to get another win this season when they play the Wildcats as Tuscaloosa County has struggled on all sides of the ball. Not your ideal season for first year head coach of Tuscaloosa County Miles Holcomb as he gets ready to wrap up his first season here in Tuscaloosa.
Brookwood ends their season tonight with this disappointing 36-17 loss to Bryant. It’s never ideal to send your seniors away with a loss. Brookwood has struggled for a long time with their football program, seeing a little light, during the 2016 and 2022 seasons where they went 4-6 both years, but have been unable to capitalize. The Panthers start their offseason, and we hope to see improvements towards building a winning program at Brookwood High School.
