Running back Daniel Hill and linebacker Cayden Jones were listed as out, while safety Keon Sabb and linebacker Yhonzae Pierre were game-time decisions.

However, the only player from the list to play was Sabb. Sabb was seen often throughout the game and left for a short amount of time after getting banged up in the second half. He then returned to the field and played in the third quarter before leaving again.

Sabb finished the game with two tackles and one pass breakup. His backup, Bray Hubbard, had nine tackles in the game against Tennessee.
