Predicting Three Tuscaloosa High School Games
Tide 100,9 will be on hand for three high school games tonight and bring you the scores of other as we do each week on Friday Night Live and the Last Call Scoreboard Show. Here is a look at which games we will cover in person and my predictions on how they will come out.
Hillcrest at Central: Jalen Prince has our coverage. Demario Pippen has done a great job in his first year back at his alma mater but Bryson Kimbrough and the Pats offense will be too much for stellar quarterback David McNeil and the Falcons on Fifteenth St. Hillcrest rollls, 49-14.
Spain Park at Tuscaloosa County: Xavier Houston will be in Northport as the Wildcats celebrate Homecoming 2023. Adam Weingarten has TCHS in the thick of a hunt for a playoff berth at 2-1 in region play and 4-1 overall. I say the 'Cats take out what I lovingly call "The Auburn of Hoover" with a convincing 38-13 win over the Jaguars.
Dalllas County at ACA: J.D. Zasa will be on Veterans Memorial Parkway as American Christian plays host to the hapless Hornets of Dallas County. How bad is DCHS? Well, they lost to Holt, the first victory by the Ironmen in two year. No offense, Holt Nation! I look for a strong rushing night from ACA's Jackson Willingham and for Kai Young to effectively guide the Pats' offense to a 52-6 win with a running clock the entire second half by coaches' agreement.
You can hear live updates of these games on Tide 100.9 and WTCB 1230 AM from 6-9 tonight on Friday Night Live and then catch all the final scores on The Last Call Scoreboard Show, which airs 10-11 p.m.
