Rodney Orr Shares Thoughts on Alabama Baseball Hire, Updates Football Recruiting

June 17th, 2016 marked the date that the search for Alabama’s new baseball head coach came to an end. Former Louisiana Tech head coach Greg Goff stepped up to the podium after becoming the 31st head coach in Alabama baseball history.

Rodney Orr of TiderInsider.com gave his thoughts on the hiring of Goff during The Gary Harris Show.

Goff’s experience coaching division I and II teams is solid. However, his recruiting experience in the state of Alabama while at Montevallo may have been a key reason for his hiring according to Orr.

Baseball wasn’t the only topic Orr introduced. Switching over to football, he gave his insights on some of the best athletes in the 2017 recruiting class that are from the state of Alabama.
