Saban Announces Who Will Be Alabama’s Quarterback

After a tumultuous game in South Florida this past weekend, there has been another change to the starting lineup.

And Milroe is the pick.

Once again, we will see Milroe as the starting quarterback when the Crimson Tide plays Ole Miss this Saturday at Bryant-Denny Stadium.

Saban made the announcement in his press conference Monday.

Sports fans are still trying to puzzle out why Milroe didn't start against South Florida, but whatever Coach Saban was thinking, he seems to be thinking differently now.

Saban spoke on Milroe's performance saying, "Jalen really showed the leadership that I was looking for...he's earned the opportunity to be the quarterback."

Some thought that perhaps Milroe might have been temporarily suspended. But as this tweet notes, it will forever be speculation:

For better or for worse (but probably for better) Milroe will be Alabama's quarterback this weekend...and perhaps the rest of the season.
