Highlights from Nick Saban’s Appearance on The Dan Patrick Show (VIDEO)

On Friday Alabama head coach Nick Saban joined the Dan Patrick Show. During the course of the interview Saban covered a number of topics including his movie role in The Blind Side, recent negative comments against him and the conference, his Nick's Kids charity and more. Below are a few of the notable quotes from the interview are below:

*On negative comments about him: "I' think a lot of times people try to be humorous, and I'd rather not be humorous at the expense of someone else. That's just me personally."

*On the negative comments against the Southeastern Conference "The SEC has had a lot of success and other people try to bring themselves up to it or make comparisons to it, but its pretty difficult when you win 7 straight national championships and last year we had 6 teams finish in the top 10."

*On prepping for Texas A&M:  "I think that’s on going around here...Being creative like he is, it really requires your players to play with discipline, maybe play with a little more under control than normal. They've also got be really smart about what the guy can do..it really takes a lot of discipline in areas that are beyond what they are usually disciplined in because of the way he can extend the play."
