Tagovailoa Looked Solid In Victory Over Raiders
Tua Tagovailoa had a big game today against the Las Vegas Raiders. Winning 34-19. This marks another win for the Dolphins in a rather unfortunate losing record of 4-6 at the moment.
Despite some compilations this season sustaining a head injury during week two of the season against the Buffalo Bills, which resulted in being placed on concussion protocol and missing the next four games, Tua Returned in week 8 against the Arizona Cardinals.
Since returning to the field Tua has seven touchdowns, 1 interception, 960 yards with an average of 240 yards per game, a 78% completion rate, and a 110-passer rating.
Today, Tua Completed 29 of 37 passes with a 77.8 pass completion rate. He was also able to put up 290 passing yards with three touchdowns in the 34-19 win over the Raiders. In the post-game interview, when asked how the season adversities prepared the team for back-to-back wins, Tua said "It's the trust and belief in each other, continuing to grind it throughout the week regardless of what the result was prior."
Season stats show Tua with 1,155 yards, six touchdowns, and four interceptions. Many concerns have been expressed over the future of the Dolphins quarterback with him sustaining his third head injury over his short NFL career.
Despite many calling for Tuas retirement he still continues his football career, hoping to stay healthy as the season continues. The Dolphins will play the Patriots at Hard Rock Stadium on Sunday, November 24. The Dolphins have a win probability of 77 percent.
