Tua Dominates Against Cleveland and the Dolphins Top the AFC East

Tua Tagovailoa led the Miami Dolphins to a 39–17 victory over the Cleveland Browns. The former Alabama quarterback finished with a passer rating of 135.0, a quarterback rating of 93.7, 285 passing yards, and three touchdowns.

All day long, Tagovailoa was efficient, accurate, and having fun. The Dolphins now sit at the top of the AFC East after the Buffalo Bills lost to the Minnesota Vikings 33-30 on Sunday afternoon.

The Dolphins got going after the first quarter. Tagovailoa scored on a 13-yard pass to fullback Alec Ingold, a beautiful penpoint 14-yard pass to Trent Sherfield, and an easy two-yard pass to Tyreek Hill. The Dolphins relied heavily on the run game in the second half.

Tua is presently ninth in the NFL in passing yards (2265), second in completion percentage (71%), and first in passer rating (118.4). The Dolphins quarterback connected with eight different receivers.

The Bills dropped their record to 6-3, which handed the AFC East lead to the 7-3 Miami Dolphins. If a team wins their division, the team will not only get a playoff spot, but also host a playoff game. Miami is 4-1 at home, with the lone loss coming when Tua Tagovailoa did not play. This season, the Dolphins quarterback has gone unbeaten from start to end.

With the way Miami is playing, led by Tua and the weapons that Miami have, there's no doubt that the Dolphins will be AFC contenders this season. The team will have to keep winning because the AFC East, which includes the Bills (6-3), New York Jets (6-3), and New England Patriots (5-4) is a difficult division to win in.
