On August 2nd, from 6:00-8 p.m., the Tuscaloosa chapter of the University of Alabama Alumni Association will be hosting an open event in Bryant-Denny Stadium.

All Tide fans are welcome, as membership in the chapter is not required to attend. It will be a family friendly event, with door prizes, a pep rally, and guest speakers. One of these speakers will be current ESPN football analyst and former championship winning Tide quarterback Greg McElroy.

Autographed sports merchandise and memorabilia will be available for purchase. There will also be a silent auction, with all proceeds going towards the Tuscaloosa County Scholarship fund. So far in 2022, the Chapter has awarded over $150,000 in scholarships to students from Tuscaloosa County Schools.

COVID-19 has prevented the event from happening in Bryant-Denny for the last two years, but the Chapter is very excited to be able to return to the stadium to get ready for the upcoming season with local fans and alumni.

Tickets are available online here, but be sure to purchase them by July 15. Event and dinner tickets are $35, with children 4-17-years old costing $15. Children age 3 and under are free. A limited number of VIP tickets are available for $50, and the VIP event will start at 5:00 PM.
