Alabama basketball game against Auburn on Saturday was big for a couple of reasons. First, the Crimson Tide needed a win to stay in the NCAA Tournament conversation. Second, the team hoped to avenge a January loss to their in-state rival.

Alabama was able to do just that with a 65-57 victory after trailing by as many as nine points in the second half. That led to a celebration in the locker room, which seems to get bigger with each passing week. On Saturday, it was head coach Avery Johnson that stole the show.

Alabama will try to carry that momentum and energy into the final week of the season. The team will host Arkansas for senior night on Wednesday.
