Kentucky was able to hold on for a 24-17 win over Southern Miss last week. While not a blowout, Kentucky still got off to good start with a win. They take on an in-state team this week, looking to go 2-0.

Ole Miss looked impressive last week against South Alabama. Shea Patterson threw for 4 TDs and 429 yards. They look to continue the offensive hot streak against UT Martin.

Vanderbilt surprised last week, shutting out MTSU until the 4th quarter. But this a long season, and the Commodores will have to keep this up to gain the conference's attention. They hope to impress again taking on Alabama A&M.

The first SEC Matchup of the year is here, and the Gamecocks take on the Tigers. South Carolina barley made it past NC State, and Missouri brought unbelievable offensive numbers against Missouri State. Who will get the head start in the SEC East?

Texas A&M is coming off of one of the worst blown leads we've seen. Kevin Sumlin has to rebound strong, or his job may be in question. The rebound starts this weekend, against Nicholls.

Mississippi State shutout Charleston Southern last week, looking great in the process. But this week they are taking on a Louisiana Tech team that is no pushover. With both offenses putting up huge numbers, look to the defenses to help decide this game.

Tennessee barely escaped Georgia Tech, winning in double overtime. There are still questions about the Vols, many wondering if they'll be contenders in the SEC East. They look to tune up this week against Indiana State.

One of the Marquee match ups this week, The Fighting Irish and Bulldogs clash in South Bend. Georgia comes into this game with a freshman at QB, Jake Fromm. How will the Bulldogs handle the pressure of being away and having a new QB at the helm?

Arkansas got off on the right foot last week against Florida A&M. The face a tougher challenge this week a ranked TCU team. If Arkansas wants to make noise in the SEC West, this game is the time to do it.

The main matchup in the SEC this week is a battle of the Tigers. The defending national champions Clemson, take on an Auburn team looking for an upset and to put themselves in the running for the playoff. It looks to be an absolute stellar game.

LSU looked dominant last week against BYU. BYU's offense didn't even cross the 50-yard line! LSU looks to continue their dominance against the Mocs of Chattanooga.
