Why Nick Saban is a Success on Recruiting Trail (AUDIO)

Nick Saban doesn’t just win his championships in January.

In recent years the head coach of the Alabama Crimson Tide has been just as dominant on the recruiting trail as he has been on the field, consistently taking the top spot in recruiting rankings when pen meets paper on national signing day. This years has been no different as Saban posses the top spot in the 24/7 Sports rankings, although Alabama has just 21 players committed at the time of this article.

Saban’s success on the recruiting trail really is nothing new, dating back to his days at LSU and Michigan State. Simmons says when you take a closer look at what Saban, its easy to see why the nation’s top high school prospects are so drawn to his system.

As mentioned Alabama’s signing class is filling quickly, and Simmons says that some of the nation’s elite still have Alabama front and center on their radar.
