Shor is listed as 6-foot-6, 295 pounds and is out of IMG Academy by way of Denmark High School in Georgia. Shor missed his junior season with a shoulder injury that prevented him from receiving prominent exposure during the recruitment process.

He was recruited to Alabama by Holmon Wiggins and Doug Marrone.

Shor chose Alabama over Oklahoma, Oregon, Texas A&M, Tennessee and many others. He took an official visit at the end of June when the NCAA allowed the resumption of in-person recruiting. He also took a self-guided tour of the campus on his own.

Shor joins Tyler Booker and Elijah Pritchett as Alabama's 2022 offensive line recruits.
