5-Star Recruit Flips From Alabama to Ole Miss
Alabama Crimson Tide football just took a hit in their recruiting class of 2025, as 5-star WR Caleb Cunningham has flipped and committed to Ole Miss after committing to Alabama on July 13, 2024.
Cunningham made his way to Oxford last weekend for the highly anticipated matchup between Ole Miss and Georgia, and no doubt the dominant performance by the Rebels played a factor in Cunningham’s decision to commit to the Rebels. This was Cunningham’s second time paying a visit to Oxford in three weeks to make his way to oxford, Along with watching the Rebels defeat Oklahoma on Oct. 26. Cunningham has been committed to the Crimson Tide since back in the summer.
Shortly after the Rebels’ dominating performance against the Bulldogs, recruiting experts Chad Simmons and Steve Wiltfong both predicted that the standout prospect would transfer from Alabama to Ole Miss.
The standout prospect is coming off three phenomenal years with Choctaw County High School, clocking in with a career 114 receptions, 2150 receiving yards, and 30 receiving touchdowns. It will be devastating, to say the least, if Cunningham indeed takes his talents to Oxford.
