A New Number One in the Playoff Poll
There is a new number one, as Ohio State took care of business beating Penn State 28-17. Alabama remains ranked fifth overall in this week’s College Football Playoff Poll. A decisive 66-3 victory over Western Carolina was not enough to move Alabama above Georgia this week. Alabama will travel to play number 15 Auburn this coming weekend, looking for a signature win to boost them into the top 4 of the rankings.
Oregon dropped eight spots to number 14 after losing to Arizona State this past weekend. Penn State dropped two spots to number ten after losing to Ohio State this weekend. Baylor climbed five spots to number nine after beating Texas this past weekend. Ohio State will take on number 13 Michigan in Ann Arbor this weekend with hopes of maintaining its new number one ranking.
