Nate Oats convinced one of the most coveted graduate transfers in the NCAA this spring. The 6-foot-9 transfer Jordan Bruner will be expected to contribute to the Crimson Tide immediately. According to Jon Rothstein of CBS Sports the Crimson Tide will travel to Bruner's alma mater and play the Yale Bulldogs next fall.

Oats will rely on the maturity of Bruner to lead Alabama into his old stomping grounds and perform better than they did the last time his team went up against an Ivy League foe. The Crimson Tide fell to Penn at home 81-80 last November.

Oats continues to schedule tough out of conference opponents, Yale won the Ivy League in 2019 in a COVID-19 shortened season. With the acquisition of Bruner, and a commitment to a multi-year agreement the Crimson Tide and the Bulldogs could brew up a nice rivalry.
