Alabama Baseball Slides Into NCAA’s Top 25
The Alabama Crimson Tide baseball team ranked in at No. 24 in this week's D1 NCAA baseball rankings, the team's first ranking of the season thus far.
This comes after a weekend sweep against then-No. 9 Ole Miss, putting Alabama's conference record at 7-5 and adding to its winning streak, which now sits at six. The Tide's completed four sweeps this season.
The crimson and white started the season off strong, hopping on a quick 5-0 record; then, lost four straight. Since then, the Tide's performance has been a rollercoaster up until this most recent run.
As of today, Alabama is 21-12 on the season with a .636 winning percentage, 17-5 at home, and 4-5 against ranked teams.
Alabama has a hard stretch ahead of them with series against: No. 1 Tennessee on the road, No. 13 Georgia at home, No. 15 LSU at home, No. 17 Auburn on the road, and No. 6 Arkansas as the home finale.
