After Saturday's tough victory against Texas, Alabama's coaching staff recognized five players of the week. QB Bryce Young on offense; DB DeMarcco Hellams on defense; and LB Deontae Lawson, LB Henry To'oto'o, and kicker Will Reichard on special teams.

On offense, Young accounted for 251 yards total. Young threw for 213 yards and a touchdown while completing 27 of 39 passes and rushed for 38 yards on seven scrambles. On the game-winning drive, Young managed a 20 yard run to push the Tide into field goal range.

On Defense, Hellams did a fantastic job helping limit the Longhorns to only 19 points. Hellams had 10 total tackles with eight solo stops. He added one tackle for a two yard loss and one pass breakup.

Lawson helped the special teams limit the Texas return game.

Reichard kicked two field goals and two PATs totaling to eight points. He hit a career-long tying 52 yards, putting up the Tide's first points of the day. For the game-winning points, Reichard kicked a 33 yard field goal. He added five kickoffs with an average of 65 yards with 3 touchbacks.

To'oTo'o had six tackles and played a big role in Texas only scoring one touchdown and four field goals. He did a fantastic job of helping Alabama's punt unit get kicks back into enemy territory and keep them there.
