Alabama Drops Game Two to Set Up Saturday Rubber Match in Norman
TUSCALOOSA, Ala. — No. 16 Alabama (24-8, 7-4) drops game two 4-2 to No. 11 Oklahoma (21-9, 5-6), setting up a game three rubber match on Saturday as the Crimson Tide looks to win its third consecutive SEC series.
Alabama's Zane Adams is tagged with the loss. The southpaw tossed five innings of action, allowing four earned runs on six hits and three walks. Adams added seven strikeouts to his outing.
Oklahoma rode off the back of starter Cameron Johnson, who gave the Sooners 6.1 innings of two-run baseball. Johnson struck out eight en route to the win.

The Crimson Tide got on the board first, tallying a run in the first inning thanks to a wild pitch scoring Justin Lebron.
The Sooners tied the ballgame in the bottom of the second as Jason Walk dropped an RBI single to center to score Alec Blair. Oklahoma took the lead a frame later on a wild pitch to take a 2-1 lead. A sac fly in the third and an RBI groundout in the fourth pushed Alabama's deficit to 4-1.
Bryce Fowler cut the deficit to 4-2 with an RBI single in the seventh, but that was all for the Crimson Tide the rest of the afternoon.
Alabama will look to take the series Saturday at 2 PM CT.
