The University of Alabama football team suited up in full pads for the first time during fall camp, practicing for roughly two hours Tuesday afternoon inside the Hank Crisp Indoor Facility.

Today’s session was the fifth of 25 practices during camp for the preseason No. 1 Crimson Tide as the team prepares for its season opener with No. 3 Florida State in the Chick-fil-A Kickoff Game at Mercedes-Benz Stadium in Atlanta, Ga. The matchup between the Tide and Seminoles is scheduled for 7 p.m. CT on ABC.

Tuesday’s workout began at 2:30 p.m. CT and focused on fundamentals and conditioning as Next up for the Tide following this afternoon’s practice are single practices on Wednesday, Thursday and Friday before the Tide heads to Bryant-Denny Stadium for its first intrasquad scrimmage of the fall.
