Alabama Gymnastics Head Coach Dana Duckworth Flies High with the Blue Angels
Just days after leading her team to win the 2015 SEC Gymnastics Championship, Alabama Head Coach Dana Duckworth went on a ride-along with the Navy Blue Angels!
Coach Duckworth recently made Southeastern Conference gymnastics history when she won a league championship in her inaugural season as head coach. That may have played into her being chosen as one of the "Key Influencers" from the Tuscaloosa community, granting her access to the ride in the F-18 Hornet.
The excited Coach said,
The experience was fabulous! Take off, flying upside down and hitting 7+ G's a few times was exhilarating. It was an experience of a lifetime. I am very grateful for the opportunity.
