Following his visit, the 4-star safety shared a GIF on social media featuring Alabama's biggest fan and social media influencer, Roll Tide Willie, along with famous comedian Druski. In the GIF, they proclaimed Roll Tide Willie's iconic phrase, "Nothing but the Tide." This is a positive sign for Alabama, especially since Auburn and Maryland are currently considered the favorites to land the highly sought-after safety, according to On3's Recruiting Prediction Meter.
Alabama wrapped up an exciting week of recruiting by hosting four 4-star prospects on Saturday, March 22. The standout visitor of the day—and the week—was 5-star cornerback Jorden Edmonds from Sprayberry High School in Marietta, Georgia. During his visit to Tuscaloosa, Alabama's head coach Kalen DeBoer and his staff made significant progress in his recruitment. Following his visit On3's Steve Wiltfong predicted on Monday that the Crimson Tide will secure Edmonds, who is regarded as the No. 1 cornerback in the class according to 247 Sports. If he chooses Alabama, he would become their first 5-star commitment for the 2026 class, which currently includes three other commitments.
Edmonds had originally set his commitment date for February 19 but postponed it, leading experts to speculate that a decision might come soon. Although he has an upcoming visit to Georgia this weekend, many believe that the 6'2", 175-pound cornerback will ultimately decide to join the Tide.
