Alabama Kicker Will Reichard Named to Lou Groza Award Watch List

Alabama place kicker Will Reichard has been placed on the Lou Groza Award Watch List. The award recognizes the best collegiate kicker in the nation.

In 2022, Reichard was 22-of-26 on field goal tries, nailing nine from over 40 yards. The Hoover, Ala., native also hit all 64 extra-point attempts.

Reichard is one of 30 names to be placed on the watch list, joining Stanford Cardinal Joshua Karty, Missouri Tiger Harrison Mevis, and Kentucky Wildcat Alex Raynor, among others.

Reichard was a semi-finalist for the award in '21 and a finalist in '20.

Reichard would be the first Alabama kicker to win the award since its establishment in 1992.
