The SEC announced its 2021 Preseason Coaches All-SEC Football Teams Tuesday afternoon and the Alabama Crimson Tide dominated the selections with 15 players named across the three teams.

Alabama led the way on the first team with seven players including standouts like Will Anderson and Evan Neal. of the 14 SEC programs, 11 had at least one player make the Preseason All-SEC First Team.

1st Team:

  • John Metchie, JR, WR
  • Evan Neal, JR, OT
  • Phidarian Mathis, SR, DL
  • Christian Harris, JR, LB
  • Will Anderson, SO, LB
  • Malachi Moore, SO, DB
  • Josh Jobe, SR, CB

Alabama was followed by Georgia's 11 selections and Auburn's nine, including QB Bo Nix who made the 3rd team in a tie with Missouri's Connor Bazelak, who was named the 2020 SEC Freshman of the Year.
