Alabama Lands Big-Time QB Commitment from California [VIDEO]

Nick Saban and the Alabama football staff went across the country to land their latest commitment for the class of 2015 as California quarterback Blake Barnett announced his decision Wednesday.

The one-time Notre Dame commitment is rated as one of the top quarterback prospects in the country by every major recruiting service. He has already been selected for the Elite 11 event in July and has also been invited to the Under Armour All-American Game.

Alabama only has one quarterback committed for this recruiting class, but it comes after another California QB flipped from the Crimson Tide to the USC Trojans. Ricky Town was one of the first verbals for 2015 but switched to the home-state school in January.
