Ffrench snagged 44 passes for 671 yards and five scores during his sophomore season at Mandarin High School, leading the Mustangs to a 5-5 record and a playoff appearance. Ffrench also plays basketball and track for Mandarin High School.

“[Ffrench] a skilled route runner with superb body control and strong hands. Measured roughly 6-foot-1, 175 pounds summer before 11th-grade year, [...] Attention to detail allows him to separate underneath while agile feet allow him to keep defenders off-balance as attacks the deeper parts of the field. [...] Does a favorable job of navigating his way through traffic and is the type of ball carrier that understands the value of just picking up the yardage that’s presented to him. [...] Likely to offer some versatility to the wide receiver room of his choice as he could settle in as either an outside or inside receiver depending on how his body fills out. Overall polish could have him on the field early in collegiate career,” wrote 247Sports.

Ffrench chose the Crimson Tide over in-state FSU, Ohio State, Penn State, and Notre Dame.

"It was the feeling that it was home," Ffrench told On3's Chad Simmons. "I've been taking visits for the last two years and I've never felt the way about another school like I felt about Alabama."

The Jacksonville, FL., native pairs up with fellow 2025 wideout Ryan Williams, a top-5 recruit and the best receiver in the class of 2025, providing wide receivers coach Holmon Wiggins and the Tide with an electric duo to look forward to once they arrive on campus.
