Alabama sophomore quarterback Bryce Young recently won the 87th Heisman Trophy, cementing his status as college football's best player in 2021.

However, one of the biggest snubs of the whole process was leaving out Crimson Tide sophomore edge defender Will Anderson. "The Terminator" received the third most, first place votes for the Heisman Trophy with, appropriately, 31 first place vote.

Anderson also missed out on the Chuck Bednarik Award to Jordan Davis but the snubs don't stop there!

On Monday, Time Magazine wrongfully named entrepreneur Elon Musk as its 2021 Person of the Year.

While Musk founded SpaceX and is the product architect of Tesla he's never won a Bronko Nagurski Trophy as the nation's best defensive player.

In 2018 Musk ran afoul of the SEC but it was Anderson who terrorized the SEC in 2021 winning the SEC Defensive Player of the Year thanks in part to his ability to pressure the quarterback. According to ProFootballFocus, Anderson has more pressures than anyone in the conference over the last two seasons with 133.

Musk has been influential on the cyrptocurrency market by joking about Dogecoin on Saturday Night Live and then supporting it on Twitter but he's not nearly as influential as Anderson has been on opposing defenses this season.

Anderson led the nation tallying 15.5 sacks in 2021 and 32.5 tackles for a loss, wreaking havoc in opposing backfields and anchoring the Crimson Tide defense.

Not only did Anderson manipulate opposing offenses against him but he influenced his own teammates to raise their level of play. After a close win over the Florida Gators and a tight loss to the Texas A&M Aggies Anderson vowed to lead the team to refocus on football as the main thing.

Anderson should not only have received an invitation to New York for the Heisman Trophy, not only should he have won the Bednarik Award but the superstar sophomore should have been named the 2021 Time Person of the Year for his contributions to the Alabama Crimson Tide and a continued commitment to defensive football excellence.

So what Musk became the richest person in the world in 2021? Money can't buy you happiness. Anderson's ability to devastate tackles and tight ends is the gift that every football fan can enjoy, unless of course he's decimating your team.
