Bama in the NFL: Week 14 Outlook
Week 14 is here. The end of the season is drawing near. We are in store for some great matchups this weekend and there are plenty of ex-Bama players that are poised to impact them. Lets break them down.
Cowboys at Lions - (Thu. Dec. 4, 7:15 p.m. ct):
Jahmyr Gibbs (Lions) - Gibbs is coming off a modest game so a bounce back against a very gettable run defense for the Cowboys is likely. Look for Gibbs to have a big impact once again.
Jameson Williams (Lions) - His true breakout campaign is happening this season and Williams looks to continue that in this matchup. With St. Brown seemingly out, Williams should have another big role in this one.
Dolphins at Jets - (Sun. Dec. 7, Noon ct.):
Tua Tagovailoa (Dolphins) - Coming off a very run heavy game against the Saints where Tagovailoa was not asked to do much. This should be another outing for Tagovailoa against a divisional opponent that he can shine in.
Jaylen Waddle (Dolphins) - Since Tagovailoa was not asked to do much last week, Waddle was also an afterthought in that matchup. Look for Waddle and this passing attack to be more of a focus in this matchup, giving Waddle a bigger role against this weakened secondary.
John Metchie III (Jets) - Since being traded from the Eagles in the middle of the season a few weeks ago, Metchie has really hit his stride with the Jets. He is finally being involved in an offense and is taking full advantage of his opportunities.
Steelers at Ravens - (Sun. Dec. 7, - Noon):
Derrick Henry (Ravens) - A great showing from Henry last week should give this offense momentum into another divisional matchup. With Jackson a questionable start for this one, it may hinder Henry's performance; but if he gets the carries he should be able to move the chains as normal.
That does it for the week 14 outlook. Check back Thursday for the week 14 recap.
