The Christmas season means its bowl season for college football. Locally, Alabama hosts three bowl games with the most prominent being The Birmingham Bowl. This season's Birmingham Bowl features an in-state SEC school in the Auburn Tigers.

Auburn will take on the Houston Cougars on Tuesday, Dec. 28 at 11 a.m. in brand new Protective Stadium in downtown Birmingham. The Tigers have had the luxury of spending its Christmas in the Wynfrey Hotel in the Galleria Mall and holding its bowl practices at Hoover High School, one of Alabama's top high school football programs.

Alabama offensive lineman Javion Cohen took the opportunity to with the Tigers well as they prepared for the Houston Cougars. Cohen held "The Crimson Crane" pose for an impressive amount of time, reminding the Tigers of its overtime loss to the Tide earlier in the year.

Cohen's call back was not only the Crimson Tide's signature celebration all season long, but it played a pivotal role in the 2021 Iron Bowl.

The Auburn Tigers tried to adopt the celebration for the evening, however receiver John Metchie III was able to silence the crowd by winning the game with an impressive 2-point conversion route.

Cohen reminds us all why the Iron Bowl is one of college football's fiercest rivalries. He set social media ablaze with his actions on Christmas with Auburn fans rushing to defend the Tiger's effort in head coach Bryan Harsin's first year.

Alabama has now arrived in Dallas and will turn its attention to the Goodyear Cotton Bowl as they will square off with No. 4 Cincinnati on Friday, Dec. 31 in the College Football Playoff Semifinal.
