Bama in the NFL: Week 11 Recap
Week 11 of the 2025 NFL season was quite the show. Most of the games were close, although there were a few blowouts too. Bama players littered around the league made huge impacts all weekend. Lets breakdown their performances.
Packers - 27 at Giants - 20:
Josh Jacobs (Packers) - Jacobs went out quite early in this game with a knee injury after getting seven carries for 40 yards. Head coach Matt LaFleur said postgame that while Jacobs is day-to-day, injured reserve is not on the table and Jacobs can potentially play Sunday against the Vikings. Jacobs has avoided serious injury throughout his career so the trooper should be okay even if he misses one week due to this knee contusion.
Ravens - 23 at Browns - 16:
Derrick Henry (Ravens) - 18 carries, 103 yards, and a touchdown. Quite the stat line for Henry in this one, after being shutdown by this same defense earlier in the year. The return of Jackson to the lineup seems to have a positive affect on Henry and their run game. Expect Henry to continue gaining steam the rest of the year as the Ravens try to make a playoff push late in this season.
Jerry Jeudy (Browns) - Jeudy caught three of his seven targets for 21 yards. It was tough sledding in this one for this Browns offense after starting rookie quarterback Dillon Gabriel went down with a concussion, and then having to turn to backup rookie quarterback Shedeur Sanders. Sanders did not do much to spark this offense to life, and struggled in his debut. To be expected, since he has not had much experience since the pre-season.
Lions - 9 at Eagles - 16
Jalen Hurts (Eagles) - The offensive woes continued in this one. The Eagles were not able to do much even with great starting field position on most of their possessions. Not being able to do much through the air, Hurts completed only 50% of his passes for 135 yards, adding another 10 carries for 31 yards and a score on the ground. With Dallas next up on the schedule, this team will look to turn things around this week.
DeVonta Smith (Eagles) - Not much going on for Smitty here. one catch. Eight yards. Again this passing game struggled mightily and Both Hurts and Smith looked frustrated on the sideline. A ton of missed opportunities is what limited this offense. Time to regroup and bounce back against Dallas.
Jahmyr Gibbs (Lions) - Another great performance despite this offense struggling on the ground. Gibbs topped over 100 receiving yards for the first time in his career. it was an electric receiving game for Gibbs as he broke off catches of 42, 33, and 17 yards. He reains the guy to get things going for this offense.
Jameson Williams (Lions) - Williams was the go to target for Goff. Williams had another great game and another antic fueled touchdown celebration. Catching four passes for 88 yards and the lone touchdown for the Lions, it was exciting to see him perform highly again on Sunday Night Football.
Player of the week:
Bryce Young (Panthers) - Young had a monster game against their divisional rival in the Falcons. Passing for over 400 yards, three touchdowns, and no turnovers. Young balled out and got a huge overtime win that allowed them to sweep the Falcons this season.
