After scrimmaging for the first time last this spring last Friday, the Alabama football team was back at their indoor facility for practice this afternoon.  This practice marked the return of safety Geno Smith to the field.  Smith has been out since he was arrested for a DUI (his 2nd such arrest since coming to Alabama) last week.  He worked with the 2nd string defense during the media viewing period.  Also of note was Kenyan Drake working with the receivers during a good portion of the viewing period.  With recent arrests and injuries, the Tide are thin at running back, but that hasn't stopped Lane Kiffin from using Drake more at receiver this spring.

Other notes:

-Bradley Sylve and Tony Brown lined up at the starting corner positions. Sylve replaced Eddie Jackson at that spot.

-OL Alphonse Taylor returned to practice today after being limited with an MCL injury last week.  He worked with the 2nd string line.

-Cooper Bateman was back working with the QBs, though he was still wearing a white jersey which indicates he still might spend more time with the receivers.
