Alabama Practices Before Big 12/SEC Challenge
The Alabama men’s basketball team held practice today prior to tomorrow’s game in the Big 12/SEC Challenge. Alabama is 11-7, 4-2 in the SEC. Alabama is looking for its fourth win in a row, the longest win streak of the season. The Crimson Tide is led in scoring by junior guard John Petty Jr. who scores 16.7 points per game
Alabama is 2-1 in the Big 12/SEC Challenge to date having lost to Baylor last season. Kira Lewis Jr. will have some familiarity with the foe on Saturday having played for Bruce Weber on the USA U19 team over the summer. Senior guard James Bolden also has knowledge of Kansas State because of his time playing with West Virginia. Alabama forward Javian Davis is doubtful for the game after suffering a knee scare in the later stages of the game against Vanderbilt. Petty Jr., Lewis Jr., and Alabama head coach Nate Oats spoke to the media after practice, ahead of the game.
