Everything You Need to Know for Alabama’s Preseason Kickoff Event
VESTAVIA HILLS, Ala. - Former Alabama football star and NFL safety Haha Clinton-Dix is giving back to the community in a special way. On Thursday evening, Clinton-Dix announced via Instagram that he will be partnering with Shoe Station and Big Brothers Big Sisters of America to host the Alabama Preseason Kickoff Event this Saturday, July 27, from 10:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. at Shoe Station in Vestavia Hills.
The family-friendly event is set to bring Crimson Tide spirit to fans of all ages. Attendees can look forward to appearances by Big Al, University of Alabama cheerleaders, plus special guest Germie Bernard.
In addition to the fanfare, attendees will have the opportunity to enter a raffle for six pairs of Alabama home game football tickets, making this a must-attend event for fans. Also up for grabs are 10 pairs of tickets to the upcoming one-day-only film "Nothing But A Winner," showing in theaters on July 31. All raffles will begin at 11, so early attendance is encouraged.
This Saturday's event promises fun giveaways, and supports a powerful cause - all under one roof, making it a perfect way for fans and families to kick off the season with Alabama pride.
