Alabama Sees Second Offensive Lineman Enter Transfer Portal
The Crimson Tide wrapped up its regular season this past week and is highly unlikely to make the College Football Playoff. It's a busy Wednesday in Tuscaloosa in terms of the transfer portal.
Alabama sees its third player enter the portal in the same day as reserve redshirt junior lineman Tanner Bowles heads into the portal, according to Matt Zeniz of On3 Sports.
Bowles was a 4-star recruit out of Kentucky and was a part of the 2019 recruiting class. He was in the same class as Evan Neal, Pierce Quick, Amari Kight and Darrian Dalcourt.
The 6-foot-5 junior appeared in 18 games across his four seasons in Tuscaloosa playing on the offensive line and on special teams.
He was highly coveted coming out of high school and chose Alabama over Florida State, Georgia, Kentucky, LSU, Louisville and others.
Bowles becomes the is the second offensive lineman to transfer in this offseason and the seventh Alabama player to enter the portal following Traeshon Holden, Christian Leary, Jack Martin, Trey Sanders, Khyree Jackson and Damieon George.
