Alabama softball officially signed class of 2023 commits Lauren Johnson and Kenleigh Cahalan on Thursday. The announcement comes just over twenty-four hours after the Tide announced the signing of Jocelyn Briski.

Lauren Johnson (sister of current Alabama softball star Jenna Johnson) plays as an outfielder at Centennial High School in Franklin, Tennessee as well as the Tennessee Fury Platinum fastpitch team. During her junior year, Johnson had 39 total runs with 30 hits and 20 RBIs. She also has a .675 on base percentage with a .950 fielding percentage. Johnson looks to follow in her sister's footsteps at Rhoads Stadium in 2024.

Kenleigh Cahalan was named 2022 ASWA Miss Softball for her outstanding performance at Hewitt-Trussville High School in Trussville, Alabama. Cahalan hit 13 homeruns during her junior season with a .529 batting average. She had 74 hits and 64 RBIs as well as 66 total runs. Cahalan was selected to the 2021 MaxPreps Softball All-American Second Team and was ranked as a top 5-ranked infielder in the 2023 class by Extra Inning Softball.

With two more additions from the class of 2023, the Crimson Tide looks to have another stacked lineup for the 2024 softball season.
