Alabama Tide Football Injury Updates

Despite extensive preparations, injuries are an inevitable aspect of sports and can greatly affect a team’s performance.

During today’s press conference, DeBoer shared updates on the injuries of three key players for the Tide:  

Running back Jam Miller, who has been dealing with an injury, is anticipated to return to practice and be ready for game day. Offensive lineman Jaeden Roberts is also expected to practice again and should be fit for the upcoming game. However, linebacker Jeremiah Alexander is not expected to return just yet.

Miller, a talented running back entering his third season with the Tide, expanded his role in the team’s deep running back lineup during the 2023 season while also contributing on special teams. 

Roberts had a successful 2023 season in his third year with the Tide, he appeared in 11 games with eight consecutive starts leading into the postseason. He was named one of the offensive players of the week by the Alabama coaching staff for his contributions against Tennessee and was part of the offensive line that received accolades for their performance against LSU.  

Alexander, a younger but motivated player, started the 2023 season at inside linebacker before transitioning to the outside. He recorded three tackles in 14 games, primarily contributing on special teams.
