Thompson joins the Crimson Tide after serving as an assistant coach for the Lipscomb women’s basketball team for one year. Before joining the Bison, Thompson served as a graduate assistant for a Louisiana Tech squad that finished 14-10 during the 2020-21 campaign.

Thompson attended the University of Alabama at Huntsville where he served as a student assistant for two years with the women’s basketball program.

Thompson joins the Alabama staff led by Kristy Curry, and assistant coaches Kelly Curry, Janese Constantine, and Roman Tubner.

The Tide recently announced its SEC schedule and looks to release the full 2022-23 schedule soon.
