TUSCALOOSA, Ala.- The Alabama Crimson Tide women's basketball team has officially learned its game time for the first round of the NCAA Tournament. The No. 5 Crimson Tide will take on No. 12 Green Bay Phoenix in College Park, Maryland, on Saturday, March 22 at 12:30 p.m. CT as part of the Birmingham 2 Region.

The matchup will be broadcast live on ESPN2, offering fans a chance to watch the action unfold from anywhere.

As the NCAA Tournament officially kicks off this week, the Crimson Tide enters with a strong season behind them, buoyed by a competitive 10-6 record in the Southeastern Conference. The Crimson Tide is looking to build its momentum and advance through the postseason with an eye toward securing a deep run in the tournament.

Their first round opponent, the Phoenix, comes from the Horizon League and is known for its tough defense and disciplined play. The Crimson Tide will need to execute both ends of the floor to overcome the challenge posed by the Phoenix.
