Alabama Women’s Basketball Set to Compete in The Bahamas This Week
The Alabama women's basketball team travels to Nassau, Bahamas for the Baha Mar Pink Flamingo Championship this week.
Alabama enters the tournament with a 2-1 record with wins over Alabama A&M and Tulane. The Crimson Tide suffered its first loss of the season on Wednesday, as the USF Bulls escaped with a 67-59 win over the Tide in Tampa, Fla.
Graduate student Brittany Davis leads the Tide in scoring with 18.3 points per game. Davis scored 26 and 22 in the first two games, but was held to only five points in her last outing. Davis will have to be a key factor if the Tide looks to be successful in the Pink Flamingo Championship.

Utah enters the game with a 4-0 record with wins over Idaho, Utah Valley, Southeastern Louisiana, and No. 16 Oklahoma. The 124 points tied a program scoring record.
Five Utah players average double-figures in scoring including Alissa Pili (18.0), Kennady McQueen (15.8), Gianna Kneepkens (14.5), Jenna Johnson (12.8), and Isabel Palmer (12.3).
