The freshman from Green Bay, Wisconsin, was an instrumental part of Alabama's two victories over Mississippi State and Oklahoma last week. The 6-foot-8, 205-pound freshman recorded his fourth career double-double in the Tide's 97-82 victory over Mississippi State, scoring 13 points, collecting 13 rebounds, and having four assists against the Bulldogs. In the second leg of Alabama's two-game road trip against Oklahoma, Allen scored 12 points, collected eight rebounds, and notched two assists to go along with his three steals in an 83-81 victory over the Sooners.

Allen currently ranks fifth in the SEC in rebounding (7.8 rebounds per game) and is the first Alabama freshman to collect 10 or more rebounds in multiple games since Noah Clowney and Brandon Miller did so during the 2022-23 season.

On the season, Allen has appeared in 17 games with 10 starts, averaging 11.7 points, 7.8 rebounds, and 3.4 assists while playing 28.5 minutes per game. Allen is currently shooting 45.7% from the floor and 36.9% from three-point range.

The Crimson Tide has no midweek game this week, and the Tide's next contest will come this Saturday, January 24, against the Tennessee Volunteers in Coleman Coliseum. Tip-off is scheduled for 7:30 CT.
