Escambia Academy beats Tuscaloosa Academy 28-13
The Escambia Academy Cougars took on the Tuscaloosa Academy Knights tonight and defeated them 28-13. The Cougars, led by Junior RB Bubba Nettles, who ran for over 200 rushing yards on 24 carries with 2 TD, kept this game out of reach from the beginning, dominating on both sides of the ball.
Memphis Tigers Mascot, TOM III, Dies
The University of Memphis sideline mascot TOM III passed away Friday, just three weeks from his twelfth birthday. TOM III, the third tiger mascot since 1972, was gifted to the University by the Wisconsin Big Cat Rescue, and made his debut for Memphis in 2008 in a game against UCF.
