Big news for Tide gymnastics fans: Alabama released its 2024 meet schedule Thursday. It's a slate that includes five home meets, five road meets and a neutral-site, season-opening meet in Las Vegas.

 The Crimson Tide takes on both the defending SEC champion and the reigning national champ on the road to bookend its very challenging away meet schedule. Bama opens conference action in Coleman Coliseum before closing its home schedule with a quad meet.

In addition to its 2024 competitions, Alabama will host its annual Ghosts and Goblins Intrasquad meet at 4 p.m. Friday, Oct. 20, in its Coleman Coliseum practice gym. The Crimson and White Preview will be held on Friday, Dec. 8, in the main arena.

Meet times and broadcast/streaming information for the 2024 season will be released by the SEC at a later date.

Here's a look at the schedule:

HOME MEETS/PROMOTIONS

  • The Crimson Tide opens its 2024 home campaign on Friday, Jan. 12, for Big Al’s Birthday against the Missouri Tigers
  • Alabama welcomes the Arkansas Razorbacks the following week, Friday, Jan. 19, for Capes and Crowns Night
  • The Kentucky Wildcats arrive to Coleman Coliseum on Friday, Feb. 2, for Be the Change Night
  • The Georgia Bulldogs will face the Crimson Tide on Feb. 23 for Power of Pink
  • Alabama closes its home schedule on March 8 with a quad meet, featuring Illinois, Minnesota and Talladega. This quad meet will also be Eras Night for the Crimson Tide, and will have a senior class/alumni celebration

AWAY MEETS 

  • The Crimson Tide opens the 2024 season in Las Vegas for the Super 16 on Jan. 5-6
  • Alabama closes the month of January with its first conference road trip (Jan. 26) to Gainesville, Fla., for a matchup with the defending SEC champion Florida Gators
  • In mid-season, Ashley Johnston's team hits the road in three out of four weeks, traveling to Auburn (Feb. 9), Texas Woman’s University (Feb. 19) and LSU (March 1)
  • The Tide closes its 2024 regular season in Norman, Okla., for a showdown against the reigning national champion Oklahoma Sooners on March 17 

THE POSTSEASON

  • Alabama’s postseason begins March 23 in New Orleans, La., for the SEC Championships
  • The NCAA Regional Championships will see the Tide traveling to one of four sites, April 4-6: Ann Arbor, Mich. | Berkeley, Calif. | Fayetteville, Ark. | Gainesville, Fla.
  • The NCAA Championships will once again be in Fort Worth, Texas, at Dickie Arena, April 19-21
