Bama QB Commit Julian Sayin Earns Invite To Elite 11 Finals
Alabama Crimson Tide commit Julian Sayin has officially been invited to the Elite 11 Finals that will be taking place this summer, and he has called it a "dream come true".
"The Elite 11 is the premier quarterback event in the nation, bringing together the nation’s top signal callers each offseason to compete and improve their skill set both on and off-the-field," according to the Elite 11 website. It has existed since 1999.
Past participants include Carson Palmer, Andrew Luck and Matthew Stafford. Bryce Young, C.J. Stroud and Trevor Lawrence are more recent alumni.
Sayin is a 5-star prospect and the No. 12 overall player in the country in the class of 2024 according to 247Sports Composite rankings. He is the No. 2 overall quarterback and the No. 1 player from the state of California. Many scouts view him as the most complete and well-rounded passer in the entire class.
He has been committed to Alabama since November of last year and has been visiting Tuscaloosa multiple times since to enjoy campus.
Sayin put on a show at the first regional event of the year on Sunday, and the announcement came directly after the event concluded.
